Summer Reading Kick-Off!
Join us for our Summer Reading Kickoff Bash, a fun-filled event perfect for families of all ages. We're celebrating the start of the library's summer reading program with an afternoon packed with exciting activities, food, and a FOAM PARTY! Bring your bathing suit, a towel, maybe some goggles, because it’s going to get wet!
Enjoy Old Fashioned Concessions signature lemonades, cool craft stations, and face painting, as well as popcorn, cotton candy, hotdogs, and the Kona Ice Truck! Maybe we will have a few special guests!
Kids Summer Reading
Kids - our Summer Reading challenges this year will be done in the form of 8 weekly Bingo cards! Score a BINGO by completing 5 activities in a row, then bring your completed card to the library to exchange for a prize. Each completed Bingo card earns you a chance to win one of our 5 grand prize baskets. Everyone who completes Summer Reading wins a brand new book!

Teen Summer Reading
Teens - this summer, pick up a punch card from the library to participate in Summer Reading! You'll earn 1 punch for every book you read this summer, or for every library program you attend. Collect 4 punches and trade them in for raffle tickets! We'll have 2 awesome prize baskets for you to choose from. The more punches you earn, the more chances you have to win!
Adult Summer Reading
Are you over the age of 18? If so, register for Adult Summer Reading by clicking here! You can also register in-person at the front desk of the library.
If you registered online, you can download and print out your Adult Summer Reading Pamphlet here, or stop by the front desk to pick it up. Additional pages for the pamphlet are available at the front desk, if needed. If you print from home, be sure to select "print on both sides" and select "flip on short edge."
As you complete tasks in your pamphlet, color in the appropriate easel or doodle a design of your own! Each task completed equals one raffle ticket earned. Raffle tickets can be filled out at the front desk and placed in the adult prize basket of your choice starting June 21st until August 16th. Winners will be notified at the end of August.
